Visit this new educational feature in Sunfish Lake Park – A cooperative effort of the Washington County Master Gardeners Tree Squad and the Sally Manzara Interpretive Nature Center.

NATURE WALK AND TALK HAPPENINGS

The Fall Colors were a little muted in 2024 but we conducted a guided tour along the Washington County Master Gardeners Tree Trek in Sunfish Lake Park, followed by an explanation of why the leaves change color, and coffee and dessert. 

We are planning to offer these walk and talk sessions for various seasons, open to all ages from grade-school to grandparents, no charge. Please watch this space, and our newsletter and events calendar, for news / schedule of the next one. Free-will donations are appreciated.

Friends of Lake Elmo’s Sunfish Lake Park is a Minnesota Non-Profit Corporation established October 10, 2016 to build and operate the Sally Manzara Interpretive Nature Center in the Park. It was granted the status of a 501c3 public charity by the IRS in February 2017, and accepts tax-deductible donations.
Friends of Lake Elmo’s Sunfish Lake Park is not affiliated with the City of Lake Elmo. Opinions expressed on this website and our social media accounts are not endorsed by the City of Lake Elmo.
