Before & After Care for Nature Center Camps (Ages 6+)
Provided by Kind Roots Early Learning & Care
Kind Roots Early Learning & Care offers optional before and after care with transportation during select Nature Center camp weeks for children ages 6-12. This extended care option supports families who need coverage outside of standard camp hours while keeping children in a familiar, supportive environment.
Extended care is available only during Sunfish Explorers camp weeks and is limited to a small group to ensure safe transportation and calm transitions.
What’s Included
- Extended care provided by Kind Roots Early Learning & Care
- Transportation to and from Nature Center camp
- Calm, outdoor before-camp care and afternoon decompression time
- Lunch included for children attending the 9:00–12:00 sunfish explorers camp day
- Morning/Afternoon snack included
- Outdoor/free play and relationship-based supervision
Tuition
- Before Care 7:30–9:00 AM: $20/day
- After Care for Sunfish Explorers (12:00–5:30): $160 per week (Monday–Thursday)
- After Care for Wonder Wednesdays/Sallys Super Camp (3:00–5:30): $25/day
Camp tuition is paid separately and directly to the Nature Center.
Enrollment Details
- Extended care is optional and offered only during select camp weeks
- Limited to 8 children total
- Enrollment is first come, first served
- Registration must be completed before paperwork is unlocked in Brightwheel
How to Register
All sign-ups and required paperwork are completed through Brightwheel.
Families who are not currently enrolled at Kind Roots Early Learning & Care will be prompted to create a free Brightwheel account to complete registration. Creating an account does not enroll your child in the school-year program.
