A burn plan has been approved for a small (3.25 acres) section of Sunfish Lake Park (indicated in yellow). This is part of an ongoing effort to control invasive species, such as buckthorn, in the park and encourage native plant species. During the burn, smoke will be visible in the park. Please obey trail closure signs. Proscribed burns are extremely weather dependent, but work could begin could begin as soon as Wednesday, April 23.
