Great Backyard Bird Count at the SMINC

Take part in a little citizen science! Every year, people all over the world contribute to the Great Backyard Bird Count, counting the birds they see in their yards, parks and feeders. That information is collected by the Cornell Lab and becomes valuable data in the study of bird populations, migration habits, habitats, and so much more. Stop by anytime during our regular hours from February 14 to 17 to help us count the birds around the SMINC and in and around Sunfish Lake Park.
