Sunfish Lake Park Aquatic Survey Presentation

Our science interns, Jojo and Brooke, spent the summer working on an aquatic survey of Sunfish Lake Park. They spent hours lugging the canoe down to the lake, and wading through the much, to try to get a count of the animal species that call Sunfish Lake and the Unnamed Pond home. Join us at the Sally Manzara Interpretive Nature Center on Sunday, September 13 from 3 to 4 p.m. when they will share their results! In time, the work that these fabulous interns did will be used to update our displays about aquatic life in the park and will be accessible to the public through out website’s Citizen Science page. This event is free and open to the public!
